I like the present 3 doctrine setup. It gives each doctrine some unique features while retaining a good core of units in each doctrine. Some mods dilute the available units across too many doctrines. This is a feature of Wikinger that is attractive to us Old Farts. While we all can easily identify numerous units to add, only those that improve game play are worth the effort. How many light infantry units do we need? Or how many versions of the P4? If there exists a valid variant to a present doctrine, perhaps a selection feature similar to the Hammer or Anvil choice may be a better path than additional doctrines.
