Realism in Wikinger
I am going to introduce more realism to the game and I will do it in a progressive way. With the following changes I will try to make the game more realistic, trying to not hurt too much the gameplay.
I am working with the rest of the team trying to tweak our mod a bit.
. Removed of all AT weapons the critical damage "Shock crew Jagtiger". 80% of tank weapons had this value. Now is no more.
(for now the only vehicles capable generate shock to the crew members are Jagdtiger and ISU-152 on penetration.)
. Rework short range penetration of all tanks. Before the penetration values at short range was too high and not realistic.
Lets me explain better:
For example:
Cromwell Tank penetration values:
Large: 60
Medium: 60
Short:
before 110, now 75
Then at short range tanks will gain only 25% more penetration in his AP rounds. This calibration will reduce the chance of some tanks to penetrate frontally tanks like Pershing, Tiger, Comet and so on (big ones). It is not perfect but it will improve the realism.
. Some tanks will be immune to AP rounds of some weapons:
(actually in game we are using only AP round, but we will have APCR, HEAT, the follow values are for AP rounds)
